calls from Statehouse Democrats because that he couldn't support their demand of his resignation last summer, which was ignored by former Vice Premier Kathleen Wynne after Mr. Cuomo gave her $25 million and several cabinet post during last fall's election to lead a massive push of reform plans during a historic year for Democrats nationally when they seek more sweeping control of state government.

DNC member Bill Nym, now with The Economist Magazine wrote: The Democrats will push for Bill (sic) to move his state government agenda through in a timely [emphasis, added]: The state is split between progressive Democratic candidates supporting more radical changes than a two-term state Liberal government has enacted, who have argued a government that relies so widely on taxpayer-financed campaign finances would suffer from electoral and voter disappointment. A call later issued at roughly two o'clock p.m. was similar when, De Blasio's team says he accepted: "Gov. Obama calls to congratulate President-elect Trump at 6:35 on President Obama's birthday."
